Engage Ships Internet Access Router With Integrated 56K/64K CSU/DSU

APTOS, Calif., May 1, 1997 -- Engage Communication ships the Advanced IP Express*56/64, a TCP/IP WAN Router that supports Frame Relay or PPP connections and comes equipped with an integrated 56/64K CSU/DSU. The Advanced IP Express*56/64 is a very cost effective solution for connecting organizations to the Internet or for Branch Office internetworking.

Engage has two WAN product lines: the Advanced IP*Express and the Advanced ExpressRouter. The Advanced ExpressRouter routes TCP/IP, IPX, and AppleTalk. The Advanced IP Express only routes TCP/IP. Both products have auto-sensing 10BaseT and Thinnet Ethernet interfaces and support Frame Relay, Point to Point Protocol, SNMP and Telnet.

There are 1, 2 and 3 WAN Port models available. List prices:

The 2 and 3 port models are used to establish WAN Hubs for interconnecting multiple locations.
Each product ships with EngageView management software for Windows 3.x/95, and MacOS. Telnet templates which provide for edit and paste configuration of the most common configurations, are also included. Technical Support for all of Engage's WAN product lines is provided free of charge.
